Karl Lagerfeld Turned Writer

by Ally Batista

The Wall Street Journal recently underwent a makeover in the form of hiring a new editor, Kristina O’Neill. The WSJ’s newest editor is attempting to revamp the image of the paper, and its latest columnist will be sure to do just that.

Karl Lagerfeld has signed on to write a column for O’Neill’s debut issue for the WSJ, which will hit newsstands February 16th. The issue’s topic is discipline, so I’m interested to see what Lagerfeld has to say on the matter.

Other contributors to the debut issue include Marina Abramovic and Dwane Wade. O’Neill also opted not to hire a fashion director, but will be solely relying on freelance for fashion editorials.
