Weekend Outfits: January 18th

It’s cold, I’ve been feeling under the weather, and all I really want to do is roll up into a ball and sleep forever. This isn’t much of an update from last weekend, but whatever, it’s my life.

Although I want to never leave the comforts of my own bedroom this weekend, I have things to do, places to visit and people to see, so rolling out of bed is, unfortunately, a must.

This doesn’t mean I have to not dress comfortably though, which is the beauty of the pullover sweater. Pullover sweaters, whether they’re casual and graphic, or more formal and dressed up, are my favorite winter staples.

For a nighttime outfit choice I’m feeling an outfit like this one. A black pullover sweater and pleated leather skirt and tights is a lot more comfortable than you would think, and the camo blazer (inspired by one of my boss’s outfits this week), adds a nice pattern element to the ensemble.

A perfect, casual, go to daytime outfit is obviously skinny jeans, riding boots, and a pullover sweater topped off with a blanket cardigan. Throw on some oversized sunglasses to hide those sleepy eyes and you’re all set.

You’ll look so good that people won’t even think that you planned your outfits we’re inspired by your lounge clothes.
