Weekend Outfits: 8/10

The weekend is finally upon us. This week seemed to fly by but I know that every single one of us needs a few days off. As always, I plan ahead. I already have a weekend itinerary set up and that of course consists of what I’ll be wearing.

The forecast for this weekend says rain, but that doesn’t bother me. I love rainy days. They give me an excuse to dress down in feminine tomboy outfits and stay inside all day reading and shopping. During the day on rainy weekends you’ll catch me in loose sweaters. I paired this sweater with a pair of trousers because they’re more comfortable than regular pants and make it look as if you put in extra effort. A pair of oxfords completes this androgynous look.

Even though the weather will be ideal for staying in and cuddling up on the couch, I have to go out at least once. At night, my edgier side comes out. This leather skater skirt paired with a lace top will give me a girl meets grunge look. Wedges are my favorite type of heel (ideal for late nights and lots of walking) and this particular pair has an ankle strap, which I absolutely love right now.
