Tom Ford likes to keep an air of enigma around his presentations. Normally, the infamous designer only presents his women’s collection (launched in 2010) in private, no-photographs-allowed, presentations.
This year, he’s doing things differently. Tom Ford will officially present his latest collection during London Fashion Week, on a real catwalk, with real guests present in addition to allowing media.
Ford stated that his business is big enough now that a runway show is essential for proper showcasing. Smart move. I agree with Ford’s decision to keep his presentations private until he felt that his own collection was strong enough. I’m sure he will not disappoint.
