I hope all of you ladies went out and voted today! I know a lot of you are discouraged to vote due to the complexity of the Electoral College, but we’re extremely lucky to be residents of a country in which we have the option to change something as big as the leader of our country. Always utilize that right.
Moving on from politics (I’m sure you’re all sick of hearing about it by now, thanks social media), let’s talk about one of my favorite things. Since the weather thinks that it’s February, my digits were nearly frozen today. Wait, just kidding, no they weren’t, because I own leather and cashmere gloves.
Normally, I post a spotlight article on a somewhat unconventional or new item but I felt like I needed to put the spotlight on these babies. The first things to freeze on my body (which is always cold) are my fingers. I bought my first pair of leather and cashmere lined gloves years ago, and I’ve since expanded my collection to a multitude of colors and styles.
To me, it doesn’t matter if I have a wool coat, scarf or hat on. I will not be content unless my fingers are protected, and these absolutely do the trick. This may be the only item of clothing I own that put function before fashion. But wait, they’re still fashionable, seeing as leather is super in this season.
