Spotlight: Coated Denim

Leather has always been an integral textile for fall seasons, but this season it is the integral textile. Leather is making it’s way onto every article of clothing I’ve seen so far, but some people, may be apprehensive to jump on board.

There’s a solution for these women who don’t want to fully commit to a leather pant: coated denim. Essentially, coated denim is a lot like how it sounds. A pair of jeans covered in a waxy coating, giving it a liquid/makeshift leather effect.

Coated denim can be worn in almost any context. With a pair of heels or a pair of flats, an elaborate blouse or a plain t-shirt. Coated denim comes in multiple colors and cuts, but coated denim of the black or grey variety.
