Warby Parker has been making some serious moves in the industry recently. Not only are they secretly rumored to be partnering up with Google Glass and are in motion to open their first permanent brick and mortar store in soho, but the hipster eyeglass company just received a major investment.

American Express and J.Crew CEO Mickey Drexler just signed on as an investor in Warby Parker. This makes sense, seeing as Warby Parker’s glasses usually are popular amongst the hipster/preppy crowd, and no one does prep better than J.Crew.

What could this investment mean for the company? Perhaps a collaboration with JC Penney, another department store making big moves in the collaboration realm? We will see..
