Fashion Inspired By: The Edgy Girl

Here at the Elite Daily offices, the male writers have found a newfound obsession with “the edgy girl” style. I have to admit, I can see the attraction. I’ve always had the personal style of Audrey Hepburn meets Olivia Palermo but I can’t help but be entranced by the personal style of Hanna Beth.

Something about “the edgy girl” is attractive and I think I know what it is. The edgy girl gives off the aura of mystery. A true edgy girl loves glam and style while channeling her inner rock star. I personally could never pull this style off, I’ve created a routine and fashion for myself and if I were to stray away from my chiffon blouses and pencil skirts I think I’d have a mini heart attack, but a huge part of me wants nothing more than to go out and buy a pair of studded loafers.

So this week, I’ve decided to focus my “Fashion Inspired By…” article on the edgy girl. An homage to the girl I wish I could be.

My inner edgy girl would want to wear outfits such as the ones pictured above. Studs, skulls, and anything over the top is huge for this fall. I’d picture the perfect edgy girl wearing any of these outfits with exaggerated and dramatic makeup, and their hair effortlessly swept to the side.

So what do you think, would you dress like “the edgy girl”?
