There’s something so captivating about a woman who can master the casual-chic look, while simultaneously holding the title of one of the most well known sex symbols of all time. Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot, the former French model’s style is so iconic that she continues to inspire looks to this day.

Bardot was the bad girl of the 50s and 60s. When most women were wearing full skirts and had their hair pin curled and tucked back nice and proper, Bardot was known to don skintight skinny jeans with a cowl neck sweater.

On occasion, she’d mix it up a bit and combine feminine blouses with her signature skinny pant and was a true pioneer of sexy androgyny.

To style yourself as Bardot would, invest in a high-waisted and tapered skinny pant, a comfortable cowl knit sweater, a killer pair of heels and oversized sunglasses. Be sure to wear cat-eye makeup and leave your hair tousled and a little bit disheveled.

Would you dress like Brigitte Bardot?
