Bobbi Brown To Launch Eyewear Collection

At first, it’s confusing. Then you think that the world-renowned makeup artist is constantly bringing attention to women’s eyes everywhere via makeup. Why wouldn’t she take the next step and launch an eyewear collection?

This isn’t her first foray into working with eyewear. Once, the makeup artists even launched an entire makeup collection inspired by tortoise shell glasses. Now, however, this collaboration will be different.

Bobbi Brown plans on launching a line of optical frames and sunglasses for Spring 2014, which will be her first direct move outside of beauty.

Bobbi Brown was quoted in saying, “As a makeup artists, I have looked at women’s faces for over 20 years and believe that my beauty expertise will translate naturally into eyewear, indentifying the best silhouettes and colors for a woman’s face shape, skin tone and lifestyle. This is a new, innovative approach to interpreting eyewear.”

I’ll trust her over any other designer any day.
