Cat Marnell’s Book Deal

You may be familiar with the name Cat Marnell. She’s the xoJane Beauty and Health Editor who has been notoriously open about the fact that she works on drugs, and doesn’t plan on changing that anytime soon.

The blogger famously told Page Six:

“I’m always on drugs. Look, I couldn’t spend another summer meeting deadlines behind a computer at night when I could be on the rooftop of Le Ban looking for shooting stars and smoking angel dust with my friends and writing a book, which is what I’m doing next.”

Marnell is certainly an interesting character, and it seems as if Simon & Schuster agree.  The book is set to be titled “How to Murder Your Life” and will be billed as a memoir.

The book is set to chronicle everything from her “life as a spoiled rich kid of a psychiatrist and a psychoanalyst” to her “drug-fueled rise through Conde Nast, xoJane.com and Vice magazine.”

I have to admit, I can’t wait to read it.
