Would You Pay For A Nap?

by Ally Batista

I don’t know about you, but I wish I was taking a nap about six or seven times throughout the day, give or take. On some days, especially days with dreary gray weather, I would do just about anything to take a nap.

However, I never thought about ever paying for a nap, until I heard about YeloSpa, a combination massage and nap bar in New York City. The name alone is unique, along with its services, but what’s even more interesting was that there is neither set pricing nor treatments at this location.

You pay for services per minute and by whatever you feel you need that day. Massages are $2.40 per minute and naps are $1 per minute. That’s right. Naps. You’ll be escorted into a dimly lit room filled with classical music.

The nap rooms are perhaps the coolest aspect of this business. The light in the nap rooms becomes brighter after 20 minutes of sleep, to simulate natural sunlight. Honestly, what more could you need?

Check out this facility on 5 E 57th St, 12th floor, New York, NY.
