We all love wearing sky-high heels and carrying around big and bold bags. Our looks are completed with these ultra feminine accessories, and it’s hard to imagine going out in something other than stilettos.
But could these habits be harming you? According to a Stylecaster article, they most certainly are. Will Torres, a health and fitness expert and owner of Willspace, a private training studio in New York City, says that wearing heels is the worst thing you can do for your body alignment.
Torres says that walking on the ball of your feet can put a ton of stress on your spine and compress your disks over time. In addition to that startling thought, big and heavy bags lead to uneven weight distribution, which causes muscle imbalances and alignment issues.
