Eat Now, Rather Than Later

I’m sure you’ve heard this rule before, and I’m almost positive that the majority of you break it on a regular basis. Sometimes, it’s just hard to not snack late at night, especially for those who suffer from insomnia.

It has been proven that we are capable of burning more fat during our morning workouts, and now, studies are beginning to show that the majority of our weight loss happens earlier in the day, especially if you opt to eat earlier than not.

The latest study followed people who enrolled in a weight loss program. Those who ate their lunch later on in the day (after 3 p.m.) lost 25 percent less weight over a 20-week period, than those who ate earlier in the day.

Everyone enrolled in the program had the same amount of sleep and performed the same amount of exercise as well, so those studied weight loss was entirely based on what time they were eating.

Try eating your biggest meals earlier on the day, and see if it makes a difference.
