According to reports, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for his role in Deflategate has been reinstated.

Those reports claim a US appeals court reinstated the ban, which would see Brady miss an entire quarter of the NFL regular season.

There's no reported response yet from Brady or the New England Patriots organization, but this statement appears to outline why NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has the authority to suspend Brady from the upcoming season.

Brady will reportedly miss the following games in the 2016 season.

The decision to overturn Brady's initial suspension has been under appeal since March. We'll bring you any further updates as they're made available.
