Someone Thought It Was A Good Idea To Give GB's Olympic Team Matching Luggage

After spending a month in Rio, Brazil at the 2016 Summer Olympics, all anyone on team Great Britain probably wanted to do was get back to the UK, grab a pint and eat some fish and chips, right?

Stereotypes aside, it appears the athletes on team Great Britain flew home to an absolute disaster when they went to claim their bags and realized they all have the exact same piece of red luggage.

I mean, who was in charge of this? Who thought this was a good idea? Heads should roll right down Piccadilly and Oxford Street for such a travesty.

The last thing I'd want after spending 11 hours and 30 minutes on a plane is to have to sift through a sea of red luggage that looks identical.

Nick Dempsey, bless his soul, is a team GB windsurfer, and based on his tweet, he tried to see the humor in the great British luggage debacle of 2016.

Alex Gregory, a two-time Olympic world rowing champion, also tried to make light of this ridiculous situation.

Olympian Matt Langridge had a pretty accurate hot take on the Herculean effort it would take to find his luggage.

Brit Becky Downie hit us with a 360 view of the disaster at the airport.

Finally, here's one last look at the "carnage" that took place with team Great Britain's luggage.

Don't worry, guys. You have four years to get this right the next time around.
