Ronda Rousey Will Reprise Patrick Swayze's Iconic Role In 'Road House'

by Adam Silvers

Ronda Rousey will star in a remake of the classic 1980s film "Road House," her agent, Brad Slater, said.

Rousey will play the lead role, which was originally played by late, great Patrick Swayze.

The current UFC women's bantamweight champion reportedly reached out to Swayze's widow, Lisa Niemi Swayze, to obtain consent to reprise the role.

Having already appeared in "Furious 7," "Entourage" and "The Expendables 3," Rousey is no newbie when it comes to forays into cinema.

With regards to how Rousey will juggle her training schedule and shooting "Road House," her agent said,

Production of the movie will be dictated, as always, by her fight schedule. That's how we always do it and that will be the case here.

Ronda Rousey is making it abundantly clear she is most definitely not a "do-nothing bitch."
