People Are Already Taking Sides For The Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm Rematch
The much-anticipated rematch between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm will reportedly go down on July 9 for UFC 200 at a newly constructed 20,000-seat arena in Las Vegas.
In a few brief words, UFC President Dana White all but guaranteed as much.
Speaking with the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday, White clarified who will be Holm's next opponent, saying,
It's Rousey.
Holm's trainer, Lenny Fresquez, expressed his belief the current number two contender, Miesha Tate, should get the next shot at the new UFC women's bantamweight champion, but it appears that's not going to be the case.
And while the fight may not even be official yet, that hasn't stopped Twitter from already picking sides.
Some folks think Holly Holm is getting disrespected by being forced to fight Rousey again.
