Thursday night, hundreds of college hopefuls will wait nervously to hear their names called at the 2016 NFL Draft in Chicago.

In 1998, Peyton Manning was one of those college hopefuls.

The fresh-faced quarterback from the University of Tennessee didn't have to wait long, as he was selected number one overall by the Indianapolis Colts in '98, but he certainly knows what many of the top football prospects in the nation are going through right now.

From #DraftDay to his last day in an NFL uniform, Peyton Manning carried himself as the consummate professional, which is why everyone from Derek Jeter to his brother, Eli, teamed up to create a touching tribute to the famed number 18.

As you can see in the video above, Peyton Manning touched the lives of so many people, both on and off the football field, so it's only logical everyone would want to thank him for everything he did and continues to do.
