Look, I don't know what planet the folks on the NFL Hall of Fame committee are living on, but it clearly ain't the one you and I currently reside on.

If you're unaware, 14-year NFL veteran safety Darren Sharper is currently serving an 18-year sentence for drugging and raping women.

After being accused of drugging and raping as many as 16 women across four different states, the 40-year-old Sharper was convicted and sentenced in August.

I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but Darren Sharper is a serial rapist.

Why am I repeating myself? Well, believe it or not, there's actually an ongoing debate about whether or not Darren Sharper, a five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, should be allowed entry to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This shit should enrage you as a human being.

You wonder why people think professional athletes are above the law and why some college athletes legitimately don't think there even is such a thing as rape? Well, look no further than the Darren Sharper story.

One person who seems to understand this more than most, and did an exemplary job of summing it up for everyone, is sportscaster Katie Nolan.

For those of you who don't know, Katie Nolan is one of the most knowledgeable young sports personalities on air today.

She knows her stuff, doesn't mince words and isn't afraid to call people on their bullshit, which is exactly what she did recently after learning the Pro Football Hall of Fame is actually considering inducting a convicted rapist.

Speaking on her show "Garbage Time," Katie Nolan talked about how tough it is to win in professional sports. Nolan then talked about what an easy win it would be to just use common fucking sense and announce Darren Sharper isn't eligible for an honor like the Hall because, you know, he's a serial rapist.

Speaking in the above segment, Katie Nolan said,

Isn't that weird, that's even a question, whether he should be considered BECAUSE HE'S IN JAIL FOR RAPING! It's so weird that emotions would be high over nominating serial rapist Darren Sharper for one of the greatest honors in sports... I don't even have to say allegedly, that's how you know it's bad. This dude, rapist. Right here, for sure.

Speaking on his HOF nomination, Nolan continued,

Guys, easy win here. Get Sharper off that list and out of my fucking face... I don't know what it is about our relationship with sports that makes us think, if you can return a bunch of interceptions for touchdowns, you have this right to honor, but it's not real life... Take the easy win, there's still time. Get this dickhead off the list, put out a press release about how brave you are for not nominating a rapist. Go you!

I love you, Katie Nolan. Wake the fuck up, everyone.
