The Jets Just Lost One Of Their Best Players And No One Knows Why

Despite the fact he's missed just one snap in the last decade and appears to be in terrific health, New York Jets left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson is reportedly retiring from the NFL.

Earlier this week, it was reported the Jets asked Ferguson to take a pay cut to help them maneuver the salary cap, but now it appears the team won't have to worry about paying him a dime.

Not only does Ferguson appear in great health, but he's also only 32 years old and would probably have had plenty of good years left in him. The move is a mystery and comes as a shock to seemingly everyone.

Best of luck, big man.
