Good Guy Cristiano Ronaldo Is Really Making It Impossible To Hate Him

by Julian Sonny

Whether you love him or hate him as a player, you have to at least respect Cristiano Ronaldo as a man. He's arguably the best football player in the world, with a track record to match and, oh yeah, he has a heart of gold. Hating on his success in any type of way is just ignorant.

But the polarizing sports star only seems to become even more legendary and untouchable over time as his most recent admission to Diretta News proves just what kind of character he has.

On the topic of why he doesn't have any tattoos on his body, Cristiano gave us the most selfless and noble excuse of all time.

I don’t have tattoos because I donate blood very often.

In some countries, getting inked affects the way you donate blood. This is a risk that Ronaldo is not willing to take as he donates blood and bone marrow to kids in need on a regular basis.

During an interview with the radio station Cadena Cope, he told a story about how he helped a teammate's son.

It was the time when Carlos [Martins] was with us on the national team. He told us about the problem with his son and we, the players, showed great unity to help him and his son because we knew it was a very complicated situation. [Donating bone marrow] is something a lot of people think is a difficult thing to do but it’s nothing more than drawing blood and doesn’t hurt.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most caring individuals in all of sports. It's not his fault he gets mad b*tches. Stop being a hater and respect the man!
