Blackhawks Star Surprises Young Fan By Playing Babysitter For A Day
You may be tired of hearing about public relations campaigns putting superstar athletes in positions to do charity work, but that would be a mistake.
Emilie is a Chicago Blackhawks fan who babysits fellow Blackhawks diehard Ben, a young boy with special needs. Her goal was to babysit Ben like any other day, except she wanted to do so with help from Ben's favorite Blackhawks players.
The Blackhawks made it happen.
As you can see in the video above, Chicago's goalie, Corey Crawford, makes a house call to surprise Ben and Emilie for the day. In addition to playing some street hockey with Ben, Crawford also makes him macaroni and cheese and reads to him in bed.
A few other teammates join Crawford in creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Ben, and it's something you need to check out for yourself.
