Clever Twin Babies Pretend To Sleep When They Hear Their Mom's Voice (Video)

by Taylor Ortega

Babies have a lot to deal with on a daily basis.

They have no autonomy. Their parents are always tricking them into naps by spelling out n-a-p. Their bathrooms are also their underwear, and they are under constant surveillance.

Twins Miya and Keira thought they found a way around nap time when Big Brother -- aka their mom, Judy Travis -- caught the sisters standing for a chat during nap time.

Travis posted a video to Facebook of the baby monitor display, showing the twins standing in their adjoining cribs. From another room, the 29-year-old mother of three enabled the device's speaker and greeted the girls.

The babies, who thought they were super slick, reacted like the toddler versions of a less-effective James Bond.

In the video's description, Travis claimed this is normal behavior for the pair. She wrote,

I rarely talk with the girls through the baby monitor. But when I do, this usually happens.

With over 14 million views, it's pretty obvious everyone is familiar with fake sleeping, and the twins will likely carry this cute routine into adulthood.
