Starbucks' New Iced Tea Flavors Were Added To The Year-Round Menu, So Drink Up
Regular iced tea is cool and all, but Starbucks' new Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions are here to change your summer tea game.
The three new shaken iced teas were released on July 11, and the flavors will legit transport you straight to a tropical vacation.
The new flavors are the Teavana Shaken Iced Pineapple Black Tea infusion, Strawberry Green Tea Infusion, and Peach Citrus White Tea Infusion.
"You get more of a true tea experience when you flavor green, white or black tea with herbal tea made from botanicals and fruit," said Melynda Cheng in a press release for the new beverages.
You can think of the Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions as "Tea cocktails," except the fact that they contain no alcohol, and it's socially acceptable to drink these during the work day.
(No judgment if you want to spike your tea though.)
These new teas are made with freshly steeped fruit and botanical blends and don't have any artificial flavors or sweeteners in them. Instead, they are sweetened with liquid cane sugar.
Hundreds of flavor combinations were tried in the year before this new line was released. So when ordering one of the Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions, keep in mind you're enjoying a perfect curated beverage.
Gosh, Starbucks is so thoughtful.
To make these teas even better, rest assured Starbucks has made the Teavana Shaken Iced Tea Infusions a permanent part of their year-round menu!
Customers can mix and match the flavor profiles to their liking. So make sure you run -- don't walk -- to your nearest Starbucks to try one of these teas.
I'm not telling you to run because the teas are on the menu for a limited time (because they're here to stay), but because they sound so tasty and refreshing. Why would you wait another second before trying one?
Oh, you can even get a free one on Free Tea Friday, July 14, between 1 and 2 p.m. local time!
