This Pizza-Inspired Prom Dress Will Make Your Romantic Night Extra Cheesy

If the pizza prom dress had been an option back in my day, perhaps I would've done things a little differently.

What a time to be alive, right? These kids don't know how lucky they are.

If your prom is coming up and you need a little dress inspiration for the big night, there's someone you can turn to for a "cheesy" look.

Costume designer Olivia Mears, known as "Avant-Geek" on Etsy, is on the same page as the pizza-loving nation with her latest creation: the pizza dress.

Even though she usually promotes her fairytale and princess gowns, she clearly has other inspirations...

... or should we say, foodspirations?

Olivia once deemed herself "Taco Belle," and she looked more tempting than a burrito bowl at Chipotle.

When news broke she created a gown with our favorite dish in mind, we had to give her major, major credit.

Her food-inspired designs get even better than that, though.

Olivia recently created the "Pizza Dress" and it's prettier than any prom gown we've ever seen.

Anyone who shows up in a delicious dress like this would undoubtedly win prom queen. I mean, how could you not?

Either way, Olivia is our hero.

To make the dress even better, it folds into a whole pizza pie. So, if you're getting a little sleepy on the limo ride home, feel free to take a snooze in your pizza gown that doubles as a pizza blanket.

That's pretty creative craftsmanship, if you ask me.

Olivia originally created the gown to enter Domino's "Piece of the Pie" contest.

To up the ante, she even posed on a throne of Domino's boxes (again, major, major credit).

Sadly, this is a one-of-a-kind dress.

However, Mears' Etsy profile claims she's "currently accepting custom Etsy orders for accessory pieces only," so perhaps the talented pizza connoisseur can whip up another deep dish-inspired item.
