Y'all, you don't mess with new mommas. I'm pretty sure that's in the Bible.
And, you certainly don't laugh at their bodies just because they still show the evidence of creating entire humans being inside them. Seriously, you guys, pregnancy is so wild.
But as we all know, some people are sh*tty assh*les, so this is exactly what happened to Giovanna Fletcher a little over a week after she gave birth.
Some mofo who didn't even know Giovanna apparently had the audacity to point at her stomach, laugh and say, "Oh look, Mummy's still got her tummy."
Bitch, what?
Giovanna didn't know how to react at first, but a few days later, she posted a full-body selfie and wrote about the experience on her Instagram.
A few days ago I had a near stranger point at my stomach, laugh and say 'Oh look, Mummy's still got her tummy.' This was 11 days after giving birth. I was so shocked I laughed. But the words have stuck with me. Obviously. It wasn't left there either as there was another comment about my face 'slimming down.' More than anything, I was baffled over the stranger's need to share her thoughts... Yes, I still have a bump. But that bump kept my little baby boy safe for a whole nine months. That bump has filled my world with even more love and light than I knew possible. That bump is a miracle worker... My bump will slowly go over time, but I'll never stop being thankful to it and my body for everything it's given me.
You tell 'em, Giovanna. Baby bumps are proof the human body can work damn miracles.
Respect that. Bow down, bitches! *Beyoncé dances away.*
