Looks Like McDonald's Value Meals Are No Longer A Good Value

Whomp, whomp. Just weeks after debuting the McPick2 for $2 menu, McDonald's has raised its prices — by more than double.

Starting February 29, the McPick2 menu will cost $5 — which, as many people on Twitter have noted, is a dollar more than Burger King's 5 for $4 menu offerings.

Mickey D's is, however, adding more items to its “Value Menu,” including the Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, Quarter Pounder and 10-piece nuggets.

Still, the McPick2 price uptick is not going over well among fast food fans. Check out their angry rants on Twitter below.

Two for $5, according to Mickey D's fans, is not a good deal.

And it's a lot pricier than some competitors' offerings.

Apparently, most people have no burger allegiance.

Some are joking that the McPick2 for $2 didn't last very long...

...While others are just plain pissed at the price hike.

The bottom line: Ronald McDonald has a lot of explaining to do.
