Pic Shows How Letters Are Addressed Only In Iceland: '3 Kids And A Lot Of Sheep'

If you've never been to Iceland, you probably imagine the country the same stereotypical way I do: A few homes scattered between hot springs and, you know, lots of ice.

Turns out it's exactly that, if this envelope is anything to go by.

Some tourist posted a letter addressed to "A horse farm with an Icelandic/Danish couple and 3 kids and a lot of sheep!"

It includes the "city Búðardalur," which is actually a tiny village on the country's west side.

That's some pretty niche addressing. Thankfully, the tourist included a little map and the helpful description,

The Danish woman works in a supermarket in Búðardalur.

From the looks of this treasure map, the house is somewhere in this area:

But that's still a pretty big patch of land to search for Mr. and Mrs. Icelandic/Danish.

There's no way to 100 percent verify the letter actually made it to its destination, but Reddit user Jideon claims it was successfully delivered.

Either way, let's take this moment to big-up mailmen/women everywhere -- you guys are da bomb.
