Hugging Pandas Has To Be The Most Lucrative, Bullsh*t Career Ever

by Kate Ryan

Think dog walking sounds like a cool gig? So did I. Until I realized I actually had to interact with dog parents who are as mentally unstable as I. Lesson learned.

There's another job, however, with all same the perks and none of the hassle: "professional panda hugger." It's a legitimate career option and you make bank -- an annual salary of $32,000 direct-deposited.

According to Distractify, the Giant Panda Protection Research Center in Chengdu, China, is looking to hire professional panda huggers for full-time positions. The job description reads like a divine calling:

Your work has only one mission. Spending 365 days with the pandas and sharing in their joys and sorrows. You need perseverance for this job.

Um, yeah, I think I can persevere through an extra-long cuddle sesh.

Watch your dream job in action below. Warning: It may leave you seriously considering a career change.
