Women Dress As Disney Princesses To Surprise Girl At Her Adoption Hearing

by Alexandra Svokos

Danielle Koning got a great surprise when she went to court for her last adoption hearing.

The 5-year-old was being formally adopted by Sarah and Jim Koning. They were hosting her as a foster family since March 2014, according to Metro.

Danielle and 1-year-old Neveah came to court to be adopted by the Konings, dressed as princesses with sparkly dresses.

Danielle's foster care case worker knows the little girl is obsessed with Disney princesses. So, she asked a colleague to dress up as Cinderella for the occasion. But then word got out and more colleagues wanted to join in the fun.

Eight women came to the court dressed as Disney princesses, accompanied by one Prince Charming.

The judge even got in on the act, taking off her black robe and putting a red bow in her hair to be Snow White.

Danielle was delighted to see the group of princesses file into the courtroom on her special day. The judge let her rap the gavel herself to order the adoption finalized.

This is a day Danielle is likely to remember for a long time.
