Burger King And Wendy's Threw Major Shade At Each Other On Twitter (Photos)

When it comes to fast food, we all have a favorite (for me, it's Popeye's).

Because many fast food joints serve the same foods, this often results in competition within the industry, with companies fighting over who makes the best burgers or the most fabulous fries.

But on Saturday, that friendly competition got turned way up when Burger King tried to one-up Wendy's on Twitter.

Things got heated — and BK got burned.

It started when Wendy's Tweeted about the beloved “4 for $4” promotion.

Burger King decided to one-up its competitor, tweeting about a “5 for $4” promotion.

That's when Wendy's fired back with this:

Burn.
