Baby Can't Help But Smile When He Sees Mom For First Time Through Glasses

by Kate Ryan

Truth be told, I'm not big on babies. They're cute or whatever, but not nearly as cute as my chunky, 3-year-old Chihuahua mutt.

Seeing as I'm all about telling the truth, though, I have to confess: This baby wearing glasses is signaling my ovaries to start churning out kids ASAP.

Four-month-old Leo Reppond looks too freaking cute in this video of him wearing glasses for the first time and smiling at his mom. According to Leo's father, David, there "wasn't a dry eye in the house" once everyone saw him smiling.

Apparently, poor little Leo suffers from a rare disorder called oculocutaneous albinism, which commonly affects the color of a person's skin, hair and eyes. Oculocutaneous albinism affects one in 20,000 children, often resulting in issues with eyesight.

Thanks to Los Angeles-based pediatric ophthalmologist Kenneth Wright designing special, rubber glasses for Leo, he can now see his mom perfectly well. There's also the added benefit that he looks super-duper adorable in baby glasses.

Watch the video above and just try not to tear up at the cuteness overload.
