Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez's Astrological Compatibility Actually Shows A Healthy Balance

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are finally back together, and I for one am ecstatic about it. Young love is beautiful and careless, but more than that, these two are living proof that opposites attract. They might not seem like opposites at first glance; I mean they're both millionaires, both musical artists who made it big at a young age. But having a lot in common doesn't necessarily make you alike. In fact, Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez's astrological compatibility is completely opposite from one another. When you look at their zodiac charts (and honey, you better believe that was the first thing I did), they look like mirror images of the one another.

We'll get into the details of this in a minute, but let me begin by saying that in astrology, having opposing charts isn't a bad thing at all! In fact, it can stimulate a lot of personal growth for both parties, because the chemistry between you requires you to understand opposing views. When couples like these two get together, they are forced to compromise. Justin and Selena are young, and compromise can be difficult for young lovers. But if these two have the presence of mind to be giving to one another and the willingness to balance the needs of the relationship with their own personal needs, they have the potential for long term success.

Suns In Trine

Justin is a Pisces sun, and Selena is a Cancer sun. These two signs are both water based, meaning together this couple has a deeply emotional connection. They are able to intuit one another's needs without working too hard at making their needs known. That's important to water signs, who struggle with communicating their feelings even to themselves, let alone another person. Pisces is deeply sensitive and Cancer is fiercely protective and nurturing over the ones they love, so Justin can count on Selena to always be considerate of how he's feeling. Pisces also needs someone who is a little more dominant, someone who can kind of act as a protector, and Cancer needs to feel needed. This combination of sun signs works together with very little effort.

Moons In Opposition

Moon signs represent a person's deepest, most hidden emotions. The moon rules the subconscious, instinctual feelings we have from childhood that last into adulthood. It represents our need to feel nurtured, and governs our innermost fears. It's been said that who you are when you're alone is your moon sign. Justin's moon is in Libra, and Selena's moon is in Aries, making them complete opposites. This isn't a bad thing though, because they have a lot to learn from one another. Libra is the sign of partnership, and Aries is the sign of individuality.

This suggests that these two have a lot to learn about the proper amount of give-and-take in order to make a relationship work. It also suggests that they might have some lessons in store for them about how to handle conflict. Aries loves to fight, they're impulsive and they believe that airing out their grievances allows them to move past them faster. Libra hates conflict, and believes that discussing your problems is better than impulsively reacting in anger. The truth is in there somewhere between the two extremes, and it'll be up to them to find a balance.

Lastly, Mercury represents a person's ability to communicate as well as the way they make sense of the world. Justin's Mercury is in Aquarius, whereas Selena's Mercury is in Leo. Aquarius Mercury people have a tendency to remain aloof and somewhat detached; Leo Mercury people throw their heart into things with wild abandon.

Again, the challenge for these two will be to embrace one another's perspectives without abandoning their own, striking a balance. The important thing will be for them to remember they don't have to completely understand someone's perspective to appreciate it. All this relationship takes is remaining open minded toward one another.
