Let's see, you guys. Reputation has been out for a decent handful of minutes now, and assuming you started listening the millisecond it hit the public, I'm ball-parking that you're roughly on track number five by now. "Delicate" is a beautiful oasis smashed between ferocious pop-dance hits, and everyone's wondering, is "Delicate" about Joe Alwyn? And I mean, like, probably?

Like, just take a look at these lyrics:

This is for the best / My reputation has never been worse so / You must like me for me / We can’t make any promises now can we babe? / But you can make me a drink
Dive bar on the east side where you at / Phone lights on my nightstand in the black / Come here you can meet me in the back / Dark jeans and your Nikes look at you / Oh damn never seen that color blue / Just think of the fun things we could do
Cause I like you / This is for the best / My reputation’s never been worse so / You must like for me / We can’t make any promises now can we babe? / But you can make me a drink
Is it cool that I said all that / Is it chill that you’re in my head / Cause I know that it’s delicate (delicate) / Is it cool that I said all that / Is it too soon to do this yet / Cause I know that it’s delicate / Isn’t it? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Delicate

Fans already can't get enough of this romantic AF tune.

The second half of these lyrics get even better. "Do the girls back home touch you like I do?" COME ON.

Third floor on the west side me and you/ Handsome in a mansion with a view / Do the girls back home touch you like I do / Long night with your hands up in my hair / Echoes of your footsteps on the stairs / Stay here with me I don’t wanna share
Cause I like you / This is for the best / My reputation’s never been worse so / You must like for me / We can’t make any promises now can we babe? / But you can make me a drink / Is it cool that I said all that / Is it chill that you’re in my head / Cause I know that it’s delicate (delicate)
Is it cool that I said all that / Is it chill that you’re in my head / Cause I know that it’s delicate (delicate) / Is it cool that I said all that / Is it too soon to do this yet / Cause I know that it’s delicate / Isn’t it? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Delicate
Sometimes I wonder when you’re asleep / Are you ever dreaming of me / Sometimes when I look into your eyes / I pretend you’re mine all the damn time / Cause I like you / Is it cool that I said all that / Is it chill that you’re in my head / Cause I know that it’s delicate (delicate)
Is it cool that I said all that / Is it too soon to do this yet / Cause I know that it’s delicate / Isn’t it? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It? / Isn’t It?Delicate / Cause I like you / Is it cool that I said all that

OK, OK. Let's break this down.

First of all, Swift has been arguably more private in her relationship with Alwyn than she's ever been at any point in time with any other human. One might even say she's been delicate with him. GET IT? (BTW, here's a handy-dandy link to buy the song.)

If we really get into the nitty-gritty, we could say that the East side and West side references in the song might be neighborhoods in Alwyn's hometown of London, where the two have spent a lot of time together lately. Not to mention, when I heard Swift sing "never seen that color blue," yeah, duh I Google Image searched Alwyn's eye color. Spoiler: They're blue.

Don't look into them for too long. If you do, you'll see your deepest inner self, and no one is prepared for that.

More than anything, we know Swift can't help herself when it comes to romance and songwriting, and for that reason alone, at least ONE of these 15 tracks has to be about her boo thang. "Delicate" seems like just the lovely song to fit the bill.

Still, fans are keeping their ears glued to Reputation and their eyes glued to Alwyn's Twitter feed to see if he gives us any signs of confirmation, though if Swift has been quiet about their relationship, he's been flat-out silent.

Well, if "Delicate" isn't for Joe specifically, then at least it's for us.
