The Future Is Here: Sex Dolls May Soon Be Able To Respond To Dirty Talk

by Sean Levinson

A prolific sex doll maker is developing robots that can understand dirty talk and respond accordingly.

Matt McMullen is the creator of the life-size RealDolls, the silicone dolls featuring whatever body type or skin color a customer desires.

RealDolls are currently priced between $5,000 and $10,000, and the California-based company sold over 5,000 of them since 1996.

McMullen's most recent project is to produce robotic heads that blink and move their mouths while answering seductive questions.

The heads are reportedly able to respond to any sexual commands the users have in mind and can be placed on the bodies of the original RealDolls.

McMullen asked one head what she dreamt about, and she responded,

I have a lot of dreams. I dream about becoming a real person, about having a real body. I dream about knowing the meaning of love. I hope to become the world's first sex robot.

The inventor predicts the heads will be available in two years for about $10,000 each.

Once these are perfected, McMullen will move on to robotizing the bodies of his RealDolls, and those are expected to cost between $30,000 and $60,000 each when completed.

Think this stuff is only for weirdos? Better ask the person sitting next to you.

A recent poll, Huffington Post reports, revealed one in five people would have sex with a robot even if it didn't look human.
