Girl With Down Syndrome Has Amazing Reaction To Making The Cheer Team (Video)

It's the end of the day, nearly the end of the week, and if you're anything like me, you're probably beyond ready for the weekend at this point.

In the video up top, Lacey Parker, a girl with Down syndrome, learns she's made the cheerleading team at North DeSoto Middle School in Stonewall, Louisiana. She'll be following in the footsteps of her older sisters.

Her reaction is one of sheer joy and delight. Even through the computer screen, Parker's happiness is palpable.

It's the kind of video that will remind you, if only for a moment, the world isn't always a bad place. Sometimes, things can turn out perfectly.

And those moments are the ones worth living for.
