Cosmopolitan.com asked six couples to make over their significant others by picking outfits they'd like to see their partners in.

The results were pretty predictable. The guys tended to pick short skirts, tight dresses and low-cut tops for their girlfriends while the ladies made their boyfriends look a bit more fashion-forward.

Few really liked what the partners chose. One woman told her boyfriend of three years she wanted to break up with him on camera for choosing the dress he chose (fortunately, she didn't).
