This Man Fired 33 Bullets Into Woman's Home After She Rejected Him

Good afternoon, everybody. How was your day so far? Good? OK, well, let me ruin that for you real quick.

A 69-year-old man named Howard Sparber from The Villages, a retirement community in Central Florida, was just arrested for firing 33 bullets from his 9mm handgun into the home of a woman who rejected his sexual advances.

Sparber, who was reportedly intoxicated during the time of the attack, was shooting at the woman's home in an attempt to gain entry.

A local Orlando news station reports that neighbors, who heard the shots being fired, confronted the shooter while he was still holding his Sig Sauer 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Luckily, nobody was hurt in the attack as the woman, his neighbor, was not home during the time of the shooting. This could be a result of her reportedly going to extra lengths to avoid Sparber after he had made repeated attempts to approach her home before.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Department arrested the man shortly after the attack and have charged him with armed burglary, shooting into a dwelling, aggravated stalking and criminal mischief.

The victim's home reportedly suffered $3,000 in damage with shots fired into the foyer, front door, storm door and kitchen.

And just when you thought it could not get any worse, it does. The woman, who remains unnamed, told the Sheriff's Department that Sparber had been harassing her with sexual advances since November 2015.

This is also not the first time he attempted to use his gun as an accessory in the pursuit of her, as she recalled another time he pulled a gun on her and made her fear for her life.

Yeah, pretty repulsive stuff.

On the (slightly) bright side, he is now being held in Sumter County Detention Center with no bond.
