Gay Men React To The Word ‘Marriage’ In This Extremely Powerful Video

Cut Video asked 30 gay men to do a word association exercise on camera as part of its video series.

The word they were asked to respond to was “marriage,” and regardless of sexual orientation, I think that can be a pretty charged word.

While some of the answers were negative associations such as “complicated” and “scary,” many of the men immediately thought of the words “love” and “equality.”

It also sparked a discussion about how great it is to have more people support marriage equality and how far the world has come in the acceptance of the LGBTQ community.

One man said,

I think everyone has the equal right to be happy or miserable.

I couldn’t agree more.
