Husband And Wife Totally Crush Their First Dance With A Hip-Hop Medley (Video)

by Gillian Fuller

At traditional weddings, a newlywed couple usually engages in a slow, romantic "first dance" to symbolically commemorate their marriage.

It’s a sweet tradition but not particularly unique or exciting.

That’s why newlyweds Hollie and Dave Smith decided to change it up at their recent nuptials.

Instead of the typical slow dance, the pair choreographed an incredibly goofy (but well-rehearsed) routine to a medley of hip-hop and rap songs, including Jay Z and Kanye’s “N*ggas in Paris,” Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” and Soulja Boy's "Crank That."

The bridesmaids and groomsmen eventually join in, and it becomes a full-on dance party -- way more fun than any dumb slow dance could ever be.

A guest at the Smith's wedding captured the entire six-minute routine and later posted it to YouTube, where in a matter of days, it's racked up over 200,000 views.

If six minutes seems too long for a wedding dance video, trust me: It's totally worth the watch.
