This Guy's 'Cha-Cha Slide' Dance Is The Greatest Thing You'll Ever See

by Eitan Levine

If your Bar Mitzvah doesn’t have this guy, your Bar Mitzvah sucks.

Since 2003, I’ve danced to “Cha-Cha Slide” around 613 times.

I know that song inside out. I can anticipate the directions like a pro and even perfected a version of the “cha-cha now, y’all” part. My version is so seamless, it makes it seem like I have the ghost of Fred Astaire possessing me through awkward "CCS" transitions.

("CCS" is industry talk for "Cha-Cha Slide,” by the way.)

All that being said, this guy dancing to "CCS" is a national treasure and needs to be in some sort of hall of fame when he retires.

HE EVEN HAS HIS OWN HANDCLAP SYSTEM! DO YOU KNOW THE BRASS BALLS YOU NEED TO COME UP WITH YOUR OWN CLAP SYSTEM DURING "CHA-CHA SLIDE"?!

To shuck the clap system in "CCS" is to throw your hands in the face of modern thought and declare you won't be part of the status quo.

Not only does the guy clap on the offbeat, which is genius, he also uses the “cha-cha again” part of the song as the time to showcase his own personal dance moves, which is revolutionary.

Honored to watch this video. HONORED.
