3 Reasons Valentine's Day Is The Best Holiday For Single Guys

by Joe Ducard

If you're a single guy and you're starting to feel the pressure of spending Valentine's Day by yourself, think again.

Despite what the mainstream media may be telling you, it absolutely rocks to be a single guy on Valentine's Day.

Here are the top three reasons why you have a huge advantage as a single guy on Valentine's Day:

1. You don't have to buy anything.

Equal rights and feminism are at the forefront of political and social issues, and the old school ways of pampering and courting women are becoming a thing of the past.

But, Valentine's Day is the exception to that.

Guys who are locked down are dropping serious cash on overpriced dinners, fancy jewelry, extravagant flowers and possibly even makeshift poetry.

Let's face it: Valentine's Day was created to do one thing and one thing only.

It's to get people to spend money on their significant others.

The fact that you are single excludes you from that category, and it can save you a few hundred bucks, if not more.

At the same time, you now have a huge advantage meeting single people.

2. Women are more interested in meeting guys before the big day.

The last couple weeks leading up to Valentine's Day (and the actual holiday) are a single guy's paradise.

Knowing this, I believe there are two solid options for you to meet women at this time.

The first is Tinder.

If you don't already know, Tinder is the most popular mobile dating app where you swipe left on women you don't like, and right on the ones you do.

If the woman swipes right on you as well, then the two of you match, and you can start chatting.

The week before Valentine's Day, I would download Tinder (if you don't already have it) and change your tagline to something like, "Who else doesn't have plans on Valentine's Day?"

Or even better, "Who else thinks it's cooler to be single on Valentine's Day?"

With those taglines, some women will even message you first after you match with them.

After some chit-chat, you can make plans with someone for a Valentine's Day date.

3. Bars are a single's playground on Valentine's Day weekend.

We are super lucky this year that Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday.

This gives you Friday and Saturday to meet a ton of single people.

Even if some people hate the bar scene, they will definitely be there in hopes of finding someone to hang out with on the big day.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to help them achieve that goal.

All you have to do is clean up, show up and introduce yourself to as many people as you want.

Is there more to it than that?

Sure, I've spent the last nine years teaching men how to approach and attract women step by step.

But, you don't necessarily need to be fancy; you just need to put yourself out there.

This is especially true on Valentine's Day.

The best part about going to bars on Valentine's Day weekend is that not only are there going to be much more single people out than usual, but the people there will also be more receptive when it comes to talking to someone new.

I can't recommend hitting bars that weekend highly enough.

Take advantage of this, and go meet some awesome women. You can thank me later.
