14 Millennials Give Advice On How They Make Themselves Feel Confident

Throughout your life, you will face adversity. Lovers will leave you, friends and family will betray you and career choices will make you feel uneasy. It's inevitable that people will make you feel like less than who you really are.

And the only way to overcome all these obstacles is to be confident.

There is nothing more important than confidence. If you have a strong sense of self, you'll only value what you think of you, and it'll be far more difficult for others to make you feel unworthy or tear you down.

As most of us know, though, it's hard to feel confident and unstoppable all the time. Whenever you feel like you've overcome an obstacle, there's always another one waiting for you, and it's somehow ten times worse. It's easy to feel like the world is working entirely against you.

But, as the old cliché goes, the journey is more important than the destination. So an important part of actually learning to be confident is experiencing the setbacks along the way and figuring out the best way to navigate them.
