Here's The Real Reason The Apple Watch Edition Is So Expensive

by Connor Toole

On Monday, the world was officially introduced to the Apple Watch, the most recent addition to a long line of various sized, touch-screen devices that a lot of people use just because they can.

There were a few surprises at the presentation, but the biggest shocker was probably the price tag on the 18-karat gold Edition edition, which starts at an incredibly modest $10,000.
