Here's The Real Reason The Apple Watch Edition Is So Expensive
On Monday, the world was officially introduced to the Apple Watch, the most recent addition to a long line of various sized, touch-screen devices that a lot of people use just because they can.
There were a few surprises at the presentation, but the biggest shocker was probably the price tag on the 18-karat gold Edition edition, which starts at an incredibly modest $10,000.
Considering the kind of real, actual watch you can get for $10,000, it's hard to imagine people would actually pay that much for what's basically the tiniest iPad on the market.
However, College Humor took a closer look and discovered the real reason the Apple Watch is so expensive: Rich people love letting people know how rich they are.
