"Super Troopers" is, at this point, a million years old, and yet its legacy lives on.
In the movie, two highway cops decide to duel each other by seeing which one of them can drink an entire bottle of maple syrup faster.
The actors chug something that is definitely anything but maple syrup, but that didn't stop kids all across this great country from trying to chug bottles of thick, incredibly sweet, sticky, brown liquid.
And finally, one succeeded.
The best thing about this video is he originally plans to drink the syrup over the course of an hour, but then he just goes for it. And like a true American, he doesn't surrender.

Hi friends. I'm the idiot that drank the syrup. I'm still alive, and I don't have diabetes (yet). I did however spend a solid 30 minutes throwing up syrup later that night, and I haven't had syrup on anything since this. For those wondering what the f*ck I was thinking: I had been up for about 32 hours at this point, 23 or so spent working on a final project that I had to present earlier in the day, and the rest spent at the bars with my friends post presentation, so I wasn't exactly playing with a full deck of cards at this point in the day.Throwing up syrup was just about as terrible as it sounds, I could have very well been working at an iHop just puking on pancakes, as it was nearly 100 [percent] syrup coming back up that night. Worst part of it all was the syrup coming out of my nose, 0/10 would not recommend to a friend.
