All parents know how hard it can be to send their kids off to college.
This is why Dalton Ross decided to ease the pain of his absence by sending his mom a thoughtful gift when he went to study abroad at Belmont University in London.
So, what exactly was this special surprise? A cardboard cutout of himself, of course!
Ross told A Plus,
I just thought sending a life-size cutout of me unannounced to my mom would give my family a laugh. I thought maybe they'd put it in the living room corner until I got back to remember I exist.
Man was he wrong.
His clever mother decided to go on all sorts of hilarious adventures with the cutout and sent Ross a series of pictures showing how much fun she was having with his 2D doppelgänger.
The images include everything from dates with Barbie and family dinners to sitting courtside at a basketball game with Mom and even taking part in the annual Easter egg hunt.
Ross posted all of these funny photos on his Imgur, ienjoybread, and trust me, you won't be disappointed by the hysterical scenes.
Dalton Ross recently sent his mom, Susan Talley, a cardboard cutout of himself so she wouldn't miss him while he studied abroad in London.
He thought she would just put it in the living room until he returned, but instead, Talley decided to bring her cardboard son on all sorts of hilarious adventures.
