Some people believe in privacy. Some people think a closed door is sacred. Some people also believe one shouldn't open closed doors, sneak into rooms and videotape people without them knowing.
I am one of those people. Unless, of course, the person you're recording is out of his mind drunk and singing his little heart out to "Third Eye Blind."
In that case, documentation needs to occur.
You see, in the globalized age, everyone is a journalist. If you have a phone, you have the obligation, the duty, to document the critical moments you witness around you.
It's hard -- god, I know it can be hard -- but sometimes, the world just needs to know.
