This Genius Dog Discovered The Most Logical Way To Play Pool Fetch

If you're one of those people who can get through the entire summer without ever dipping in a pool, you'll love this pool-hating pup.

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Lauren Coe, we're introduced to a chill dog named Bart, a trusty inflatable raft and a massive pool. At first sight, I knew this was going to be good and boy was I right.

The epic video starts off with Bart walking along the edge of the pool as he teeters between the grass and the deep end.

As Bart attempts to grab a football already floating in the pool, his owner tosses another one into the water.

Let's just say Bart is NO Michael Phelps. Even he knows it.

Regardless, Bart has one goal and one goal only... "That ball is mine."

The brave dog takes two strategically-placed steps onto the inflatable tube because getting soaked ISN'T an option.

Almosssst...

Bingo! After using his expert level fetch skills, Bart eventually reeled in the football and brought home the gold without ever getting wet.

There's only one tiny problem...

How the hell is he going to get off this thing?!

I'm going to go ahead and guess that he took one giant leap of faith over the end of the pool to celebrate his flawless victory. Someone get this dog a spot in the 2020 Olympics!
