Over time, the Tesla Model S has gained a reputation for being one of the fastest electric cars ever made.
As a matter of fact, it's the fastest electric car on the market. But the real question remains: Is the Tesla Model S faster than, say, a jumbo jet?
In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Australian airliner Qantas, we're taken along for an exhilarating race between a Tesla Model S P90D and a Boeing 737.
Thanks to the Model S' "ludicrous mode," which significantly increases horsepower, the Tesla was able to keep up with the jet for a large portion of the 1.9-mile race.
If you know anything about the 737, however, you know it has the ability to cruise at a ground speed of 500 mph. Regardless, it's still a pretty closely contested matchup!
